Evo wins Bishop Auckland Beer Festival - May 06

| Darwin Evolution has won the 2006 Bishop Auckland beer festival. The 4.0% fruity ale beat 40 other beers to be named beer of the festival. The dark amber ale, which has become Darwin's biggest seller in recent months is finely balanced with rich citrus hop flavours and a more subtle malt background. A worthy champion. |

Increases Capacity to Meet Growth - Oct 05 |

Darwin have recently installed two new
fermentation vessels to meet growing demand for it's bottles and
cask products. The two new FV's will increase the brewery's
capacity to over 40 barrels per week. The equivalent of over
11,000 pints of top quality beer per week! |

Hop Drop wins
Tesco Beer Challenge - June 05 |

Darwin Brewery Hop Drop has recently been named the best
summer beer in the 2005 Tesco Beer Challenge blind tasting
test. The win has resulted in the beer being stocked in 250
Tesco Stores nationwide.

India Ale - 1901 brew - May 06 |

Darwin's May beer is
North Eastern India Ale, a 4.8% beer brewed from the original
brewing records of the North Eastern Breweries Ltd dating back to
1901.. much darker than it's Burton style counterparts this beer was
originally brewed to 7.9% and shipped to British soldiers serving in
India. |
